i have banked with charter one for a couple of years now and i used to love it there. of course considering i was with key bank before i'm sure that's not surprising. i felt like i may have actually found a bank that gives a shit about their customers. the other day i accidentally transferred funds incorrectly. this has to date resulted in $225 in NSF charges. the thing that pisses me off most about it is the geniuses should be able to see that i've transferred again to compensate for the mistake, but the NSF charges are still rolling in. it's like they look for ways to take your money. i don't know if this shitty crookery has to do with citizen's but i'm not happy. if anyone knows of a bank that doesn't suck, please let me know because i think i'm wrong about charter one.

i think rather than not teach any holiday cultures in public school, in interest of diversity, all cultures should be taught. i don't understand why it's so hard to figure out. i would rather my children learn about kwanza, chanukah, and other religious traditions than nothing except how to be PC

democratic mayor supports yet another bad idea

well the mayor's newest idea to help bring this poor city some revenue is to post cameras at traffic lights to "prevent people from breaking the traffic laws". that's great, nickle and diming the taxpayers even more.

this newest idea has nothing to do with the general safety of our public.. this is all about revenue, all about how to take more money from residents to bail out the city.

this is pure madness to me.

if the mayor is so concerened about saftey, maybe she should consider cameras for purposes of voilent crimes and not to rape innocent commuters. oh, but wait, that wouldn't work, that would cost the city instead of providing financial relief via my wallet.

we also wouldn't need cameras to catch these "law breakers" if she wouldn't have laid off so many of our police officers in the first place.

i think this is a piss poor way to help the city recover. the people here are poor, not just the government.
